The mission
Most credit card recommendation sites are paid by issuers to rank cards in a particular order. The card at the top isn't the card that fits you best — it's the card that paid the highest commission this quarter.
We built something different. Our matching algorithm scores every card in our engine against your profile — your spending patterns, your travel goals, your fee tolerance — and ranks them by what would actually serve you. The algorithm runs blind to what we earn. The card we recommend first is the card that scored highest on your inputs, not on our spreadsheet.
What makes us different
No data collection
No SSN. No credit pull. No email required. No account to create. Your questionnaire responses generate your match and then go nowhere.
Always free
The recommendation is free. There's nothing to upgrade, no premium tier. The tool works the same whether you're looking at your first card or your fifteenth.
Aligned incentives
Card issuers pay us a referral bonus only when you're approved. We earn when you earn — and never get paid more for higher-fee cards.
Patent-pending engine
Our tag-pair matching algorithm (U.S. Patent Application filed January 2026) is purpose-built for this problem — not a re-skin of a generic comparison table.
A word about referrals
When you click Apply on a recommended card, you're sent to the issuer's official application page through a referral link. On American Express applications, you'll see "Referred by Nathan" at the top of the page. That's real — that's me, Nathan, the founder. I'm working with Amex to update that to display the business name, but for now you're seeing a real human's name because that's how Amex displays personal referrals.
On Chase applications, you'll be sent through our universal referral link and pick the specific card on Chase's site. On Capital One applications (when we add coverage), you'll be sent to the issuer's standard page — no referral relationship yet.
In every case, the link is just routing. You're applying directly with the issuer. We never see your application, your approval decision, or any of your personal information.
About the founder
Get You There Tool is built and operated by Maximillian (who goes by Nathan in the referral programs), founder of GYT LLC. After years of obsessively researching credit cards as a hobby — and watching friends and family get matched into the wrong cards by sites with conflicted incentives — I built the recommendation engine I wished existed.
One person, one mission, one algorithm. No VC pressure to game the rankings, no editorial team paid by issuers, no upsell ladder. Just a tool that works.
