Effective: October 28, 2026
GYT LLC, doing business as The Get You There Tool ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), operates the website getyoutheretool.com (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you visit and use the Service.
By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
We collect information you voluntarily provide when interacting with the Service:
We want to be explicit about what we don't collect. We do not request, receive, or store: Social Security numbers; full credit card or bank account numbers; credit reports or credit scores (you self-report a range); income or employment information beyond an optional spending estimate; date of birth; physical address; or government-issued identification.
We are not a credit bureau, lender, broker, or financial advisor, and we do not perform credit pulls or transmit information to credit reporting agencies.
Like most websites, when you visit the Service we may automatically collect limited technical information including IP address (which may be partially redacted by our analytics provider), browser type and version, device type, referring URL, and pages visited. We also use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which automatically records certain interactions you take on the Service (such as starting or completing a card match, or clicking through to an issuer) and shares that activity with Meta. See Section 5 for details. Technical and analytics data is otherwise used in aggregate form for analytics and Service improvement.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not rent it. We do share limited activity data with our advertising provider, Meta, as described below. We may share information in the following circumstances:
GYT LLC participates in referral and affiliate programs with credit card issuers, including but not limited to American Express, Chase, and Capital One. When you click an "Apply" link on the Service and are subsequently approved for a card, the issuer may pay us a referral commission.
This compensation does not influence our matching algorithm. The algorithm scores cards independently of commission rates, and the card recommended first is the highest-scoring card for your profile — not the highest-paying card for us.
We use a limited set of cookies and similar technologies to operate the Service and to measure and improve our advertising. This includes the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, which sets cookies and shares limited activity data with Meta for advertising measurement and audience-building. You can manage or disable cookies in your browser settings, though doing so may affect Service functionality. For a full description of the cookies we use, the data shared, and your opt-out choices (including for California residents), see our Cookies Policy.
The Service contains links to third-party websites, including credit card issuer application pages. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, content, or policies of those third parties. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any website you visit through a link from the Service.
We implement commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the limited information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security.
Questionnaire responses are processed in your browser session and are not stored long-term in identifiable form. Aggregate analytics and advertising-measurement data may be retained in non-identifiable or pseudonymous form, including by our advertising provider as described in our Cookies Policy.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information, including the right to:
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), including the right to opt out of the "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising; see our Cookies Policy for how to exercise that choice. EU/UK residents have rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below.
The Service is not directed to children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
The Service is operated from the United States. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you understand that your information may be transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those of your country.
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Effective" date above. Material changes will be communicated by reasonable means. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy.
